About This Project
This was a full master bathroom gut renovation. We relocated the drain line for a freestanding soaking tub, installed a thermostatic rainfall shower system with body sprays, plumbed a new dual-sink vanity with touchless faucets, and added a wall-hung toilet. All rough-in was done during framing, and we returned for final fixture installation after tile and paint were completed.

The Challenge
The original bathroom had a single drain line centered for an alcove tub. Moving to a freestanding tub required relocating the drain 4 feet across a concrete subfloor. Additionally, the rainfall shower system demanded high water pressure, but the existing 1/2-inch supply lines were insufficient for the multi-head setup.
Our Approach
We cut and patched the concrete slab to relocate the tub drain, then ran new 3/4-inch PEX supply lines from the main to support the high-flow shower system. A thermostatic mixing valve was installed to maintain consistent temperature across all shower heads and body sprays. The dual vanity was plumbed with touchless faucet technology requiring electrical connections under the cabinet.
The Result
The finished bathroom is a true spa retreat. The rainfall shower delivers consistent pressure across all heads, the freestanding tub is the room's centerpiece, and the touchless faucets add a modern, hygienic touch. The homeowner called it their 'dream bathroom come to life.'
